Former Northwestern wide receiver Miles Shuler will have a tryout with the New York Giants after going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, according to Ryan Dunleavy of APP.com.
Former #RFootball and #Northwestern WR Miles Shuler has a rookie tryout with #NYG. Blazing speed. Colleague @steveedelsonapp working on it.

Shuler grew up in Long Branch, New Jersey, about an hour-long drive away from East Rutherford, New Jersey, which the Giants call home.
Shuler showed elite speed at Northwestern's Pro Day, running an impressive 4.37 40-yard dash. The Giants will be looking at Shuler's speed as a return man or wide receiver.
At 5-foot-9 and 173 pounds, Shuler is quite undersized. He did not produce much statistically at Northwestern and Rutgers, ending his career with just 410 receiving yards. Shuler transferred to NU from Rutgers after his sophomore season.
Shuler's longest punt return came last year against Minnesota, a 55-yard return that set up a touchdown. He struggled with drops throughout his Northwestern career. But that speed is intriguing.
Here is the in-depth breakdown for Shuler.
