Northwestern's homecoming contest against Indiana on Saturday, Oct. 22 will kick off at 11 a.m. CT, per a press release Wednesday. Television information is yet to be decided.

It's the second year in a row that the Wildcats will kick off their homecoming game before noon. Last year's game against Iowa — a 40-10 loss — began at 11 a.m. The previous two homecoming games, Nebraska in 2014 and Ohio State in 2013, were night games. Northwestern lost both.

This is the 6th game of Northwestern's 2016 football schedule to be announced, coming off of the heels of news that Northwestern will be hosting back-to-back primetime games against Duke and Nebraska on September 17th and 24th.

At this point, this is what the schedule looks like. Primetime games are in bold, and BTN games are in italics.

9/3 — Western Michigan — Home — TBD
9/10 — Illinois State — Home — TBD
9/17 — Duke — Home — 7 p.m.

This is the first time Northwestern and Indiana have played since 2012, when Northwestern beat Indiana 44-29, and it is the 82nd meeting of the teams of all time, dating back to 1899.
