As football season nears, so, too, does fantasy football season.

And yes, we are a college site, but we dabble in the professional ranks as well, especially considering defending Super Bowl champion Trevor Siemian has a legitimate shot to be the Denver Broncos’ starting quarterback. We’re all rooting for you, Touchdown Trevor.

So, as we announced on Saturday’s episode of Pound the Talk, we’ll be hosting a fantasy football league this year

Just like last year when we had a writing contest asking you, the readers, to submit a Northwestern football-themed poem, we’re asking you to put on your writing cap once again. Here’s your task:

Write a hate letter to Lovie Smith.

You have plenty of material for inspiration; Lovie ruffled some feathers back at Big Ten Media Days, calling Illinois “Chicago’s team,” and you might have some not-so-positive feelings from him as the Chicago Bears’ head coach if you’re from the Chicago area.

There’s no word limit or other restrictions, but try to keep it somewhat family-friendly. Leave your best submission below! We will pick two submissions to join us.
