- Sure, Northwestern has an Olympian, but Touchdown Trev stole the spotlight this week. He was named the Broncos’ co-starting QB on Monday and then put on an absolutely dazzling passing display in Denver’s 22-0 rout of Chicago in the Broncos’ preseason opener on Thursday.
Basketball
- Scottie Lindsey and Gavin Skelly packed their bags for Croatia to take part in the Global Sports Academy Goodwill Tour.
- Summer League standout Drew Crawford landed an NBA contract with the Toronto Raptors.
- Chris Collins’ recruiting woes continued, as Northwestern target Jordan Goodwin committed to St. Louis on Friday.
- Check out Justin Jackson teaching French to the women’s basketball team. Because of course that happened.
Lacrosse
- Former Northwestern women’s lacrosse assistant coach Danielle Spencer was named Dartmouth’s new head coach.
