It's that time of the week again, whether you like it or not. Week 3 is here, and the Duke Blue Devils are in Evanston for a 7:00 p.m. CST kickoff against the Northwestern Wildcats.
Northwestern is desperately in need of its first win of the season. The Wildcats have struggled mightily through two games this season, falling 22-21 to Western Michigan in Week 1 and shockingly dropping last Saturday's game against FCS Illinois State, 9-7. Duke has had struggles of its own though, as it fell at home to Wake Forest in Week 2.
This game is a rematch of a 19-10 Northwestern victory in 2015, although things will look different for both teams because of injuries. Duke is starting redshirt freshman Daniel Jones at quarterback after Thomas Sirk hurt his Achilles before the season. Jones will be facing an injury-ravaged Northwestern secondary that will be without Matt Harris and Kyle Quiero, not to mention Keith Watkins II.
