This decision comes just four days after the Chicago Tribune reported that Igwebuike was requesting feedback from the NFL Advisory Board, and two days after fellow junior Anthony Walker Jr. declared for the draft.
Igwebuike led Northwestern with 108 tackles in 2016, as well as 6 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, 7 pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
