Northwestern (13-4, 2-2) will hope to build momentum with a trip to Piscataway to face the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Rutgers (11-6, 0-4) has lost its last five consecutive games and has only won three conference games in the Big Ten, but has already improved greatly by the numbers in new head coach Steve Pikiell’s first season. Northwestern destroyed Rutgers 98-59 in Welsh-Ryan last season, but this matchup could be significantly more difficult for the Wildcats.
