Northwestern has its second commit in the class of 2018, adding offensive tackle Payne He’Bert out of Dawson High School in Pearland, Texas.

He’Bert chose Northwestern over offers from Kansas State, Fresno State and Texas State, according to 247. He drew interest from Rice, SMU and Texas. Scout also lists Houston and Texas A&M as programs that had interest. He’s listed at 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds on 247. He’Bert isn’t ranked by any recruiting services.
