Chris Collins finally got a road win against the Buckeyes.

On Sunday, Northwestern defeated Ohio State 74-72 at Value City Arena, improving its Big Ten record to 5-2. Behind Scottie Lindsey’s 21 points, the Wildcats held off a late comeback from the Buckeyes to extend their winning streak to four games. Here’s what Chris Collins had to say after the game.

On finally winning at Value City Arena: “It’s been no secret that this has been a House of Horrors to us…It was a motivating point for us.”

On defending Ohio State: “I thought their big guys were really hurting us in the first half…We tried to put a heavy emphasis on defending the three-point line…It showed a lot about our guys to just hang in there…We dug down and made a nice run to finish out the game.”

On closing the game out: “We took care of the ball, which was big…I thought we got the ball to the right guys…I thought we handled the last two minutes very well.”

On talk of making the NCAA Tournament: “We’re trying to live in the moment…March is an eternity away…It’s not even relevant to be talking about that right now.”
