Northwestern bracketology update, January 27

Things are looking good right now, but a matchup with Indiana looms large.

Northwestern’s on a five-game winning streak. Things are going well for right now. Here’s where the experts see Northwestern.

ESPN - 7 seed

Lunardi has Northwestern up to a 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament in his latest bracket, which came out on January 26. He currently slates the Wildcats matching up with another Wildcats team, Kansas State, in Indianapolis in the South region.

1-3-1 Sports - 7 seed

1-3-1 Sports has Northwestern slated to take on UNC-Wilmington in the West region. That game would be in Indianapolis. The bracket was last updated Januray 26.

CBS Sports - 8 seed

Jerry Palm has the Wildcats as an 8 seed in his latest bracket, which came out on Jan. 26. The Wildcats would play in Tulsa in the first round of the Midwest region in Palm’s projection, facing off against Southern Methodist.

Fox Sports - 8 seed

Steward Mandel dedicated his January 24 bracket update to Northwestern. He placed the Wildcats as an 8 seed in the South region, which will be hosted in Tulsa. He has the Wildcats matched up with the Golden Eagles of Marquette.

Assembly Call - 8 seed

Never heard of Assembly Call or Andy Bottoms? You’re missing out. Bottoms is the top-ranked Bracketologist per Bracket Matrix, which aggregates all of the brackets out there. Bottoms has Northwestern as an 8 seed taking on Seton Hall in Tulsa in the South region. His bracket was last updated January 24.
