Northwestern Men's Basketball will play its games at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois this season, which, quite honestly, is a hike from Evanston.
But, as expected, there will be student shuttles to games, the athletic department announced Tuesday in an email to students.
According to the email, the shuttles will bus from from Blomquist Recreation Center— the team's practice site for this season—and will be free to students (not that that's any different from before).
The email asks that students RSVP in advance for games, and RSVPs for a given game will open two weeks before that game. Shuttles will leave campus two hours prior to every game.
It's a tough ask to get students to commit an entire evening or afternoon to Northwestern basketball, but that's the challenge Allstate Arena presents. Hopefully, the turnouts will be good for a likely preseason Top 25 team and what may be the best team in school history.
