This is a welcome sight. NU’s first two Big Ten home games — homecoming against Penn State and this Saturday against Iowa — received 11:00 a.m kickoffs. That requires everyone get up early and have less time to get to the game and tailgate.
The game will also continue an impressive (and surprising) run of national TV games for the Wildcats. Both the Wisconsin and Penn State games were on ABC, and like Maryland, the Iowa game will be on ESPN2. Michigan State will make five straight on a major ESPN channel.
