Northwestern is set to tip off in game No. 3 of the 2017-2018 campaign, and it's a big one. The Wildcats take on perennial Tournament team Creighton, a squad that can score the basketball with anyone in the nation. Creighton has averaged 100 points per game in its first two contests this season, and it'll provide a much steeper challenge for Chris Collins's team than Loyola (Md.) or St. Peter's did.
After two relatively shaky performances, NU will have to prove it's up to the task against a Blue Jays team that boasts two of the better wings in college basketball in Marcus Foster and Khyri Thomas. This matchup will go a long way toward postseason jockeying at the end of the season; both of these teams expect to play well into March.
