Jeremiah McDonald, a three-star safety out of Louisiana, has signed his letter of intent to play at Northwestern.

McDonald held offers my Ole Miss, Navy and Louisiana Tech, among others.
Coming in as a safety, there's a decent chance McDonald sees the field early in his career because stalwarts Godwin Igwebuike and Kyle Queiro will both be gone by then.

McDonald's ability to drive to the ball and tackle in space will be a welcome addition to the recruiting class.
