Jefferson held offers from Northwestern, New Mexico and Rice. At 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds, he has a slight build, but he makes up for it with his speed.

As the only wide receiver in his class, Jefferson will have a chance to make an impact early in his career, though it would make sense to him to redshirt and put on some muscle next season.
