Oh dear.

Here’s a live look at Northwestern’s NCAA Tournament résumé.

Vic Law didn’t play, Oklahoma (10-1) shot 2539 percent from three and Northwestern (9-5) lost by a lot. That is all we need to know. Don’t watch the replays of this. Northwestern gave up 68 points in the first half, 25 of which were scored by this bad, bad man...

I mean, what can you say? Northwestern never stood a chance. What are we supposed to recap? Oklahoma shot 60.7 percent from three and led by 23+ for the most of the game. The Sooners are going to be a threat for the National Championship. Northwestern isn’t near that right now. This was the most points the Wildcats have ever allowed in the Chris Collins era and the first time they’ve given up 100+ since 1995. The Wildcats played much better in the second half when the game was over, but it doesn’t matter. Northwestern will likely exit non-conference play with no quality wins and a bad loss to Georgia Tech.

At least Trae Young (31 points, 12 assists, a boatload of ridiculous threes) probably won’t be here for the next game at Evanston.

Goodnight. Enjoy your holiday weekend. This team has a lot of work to do. We’ll have some analysis of the situation later.
