Coach Chris Collins and his Wildcats (18-6, 7-4 Big Ten) head to the Kohl Center in Madison Wisconsin to take on the No. 7 Wisconsin Badgers (21-3, 10-1 Big Ten). Northwestern is still without its leading scorer Scottie Lindsey, who is sidelined with an illness, and will be looking to end what has been a two-game skid so far in his absence. The Badgers will come in with a point to prove, after the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee left them off their first-ever list of the nation's top-16 teams despite their impressive record. The home team will look to National Player of the Year candidate Sophomore big man Ethan Happ to lead the way for them, and seniors Nigel Hayes and Bronson Koenig to help carry the load as well. Last year's meeting between these two teams saw the Wildcats run out 70-65 winners at Welsh-Ryan Arena behind 28 points from Bryant McIntosh.
