Northwestern bracketology update, February 7

Northwestern is still firmly entrenched in the field according to the consensus.

A Lindsey-less loss on the road at Purdue has not dampened Northwestern’s March Madness hopes. Two games, at home against Illinois and on the road at Wisconsin, loom large this week.

ESPN - 7 seed

Lunardi still has Northwestern as a 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament in his latest bracket, which came out on Feb. 6. He currently has the Wildcats matching up with TCU in the South region.

1-3-1 Sports - 7 seed

1-3-1 Sports has Northwestern facing Oklahoma State in the West region, in a game that would be held in Greenville, South Carolina. This bracket was updated on Feb. 6.

CBS Sports - 7 seed

Jerry Palm has the Wildcats moving up to a 7 seed in his latest bracket, which came out on Feb. 5. The Wildcats would play the Kansas State Wildcats in Sacramento in the West region.

Fox Sports - 8 seed

Steward Mandel has Northwestern rising to a 7 seed in the West region, facing Oklahoma State in Indianapolis.

Assembly Call - 8 seed

Assembly Call, run by Andy Bottoms, is the top-ranked Bracketologist per Bracket Matrix. As of Jan. 31, Bottoms has Northwestern up to a 7 seed taking on Iowa State in the South region.
