This is a big one.
After avoiding a Week 1 debacle against Nevada, Northwestern travels to Durham to square off with Duke in a pivotal non-conference matchup.
Duke is Northwestern's only non-con Power 5 opponent, so the game will be a good measuring stick for Pat Fitzgerald & Co.
The secondary depth is thin with Brian Bullock out at cornerback, and it's unclear whether Marcus McShepard — who was listed as questionable — will play. The Wildcats have beaten Duke in each of the last seasons, though Solomon Vault, a key contributor in both games, is of course out for the entire 2017 season.
