Three-star tight end Thomas Gordon became Northwestern’s third commitment and first tight end for the Class of 2019. He announced his commitment on Twitter on Sunday afternoon.

Gordon is the 19-best tight end recruit in the nation, according to 247. Gordon plays tight end for Strake Jesuit in Houston, Texas. You can see his highlights below:
Gordon also received offers from Iowa State, Duke, Baylor and several Ivy League schools. As you can see in the highlights, he has a strong frame at 6-foot-4 and 218 pounds, but he also has solid agility and ability to get open. He should fit in well with Northwestern’s superback position, and his blocking also looks really good.
