Not busy tonight? I’d consider tuning in to Big Ten Network at 10 p.m. CST to watch First Dance, a documentary about Northwestern’s 2016-17 run to the NCAA Tournament. It’ll bring back some fond memories of a once-in-a-lifetime sporting event, for sure.
The documentary will be featuring interviews with Bryant McIntosh, Scottie Lindsey, Vic Law, and Sanjay Lumpkin. Head coach Chris Collins, his father Doug, and a host of your favorite Medill grads (Wilbon, Greeny, Rachel Nichols) will also appear, apparently. Media! It’s good again!
We watched a preview of the documentary and it’s pretty stellar. There’s some stuff you won’t get from anywhere else. BTN Originals usually does a good job with these, and this is no exception.
DVR it, stream online later, or watch it live tonight (after you watch NU-Minnesota at 8pm on BTN, of course). It’ll make you feel a bit emotional again.
