The third piece in Chris Collins’s 2019 recruiting class is in the place after forward Robbie Beran announced his commitment to Northwestern on Monday afternoon. Beran’s commitment comes right on the heels of Jared Jones’s pledge on Sunday night.
Beran, a Richmond, Va. native, is a consensus top-100 recruit, ranked as high as No. 78 by 247Sports.com. He visited Northwestern over the weekend. The other three teams in Beran’s top four were Virginia Tech, Boston College, and Georgia Tech. He picked up late summer offers from Louisville and Maryland.
