A few things to note:

  • The running back position appears to be a four-headed monster. Northwestern is not announcing which of Solomon Vault, Isaiah Bowser, Drake Anderson, or Chad Hanaoka will start on Saturday. Vault did not make the trip to New Jersey last weekend and Bowser rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns in his stead. John Moten IV, who left the Nebraska game with an apparent injury, is not listed on the depth chart.
  • Nate Hall, Nathan Fox, and Greg Newsome II are all off the two-deep. All three missed Northwestern’s win over Rutgers.
  • J.B. Butler is back at left guard after Nik Urban was listed as the starter last week. Butler or Sam Gerak will start there, and Urban is listed as the backup center.
