Northwestern (4-1) will close out its trip to Southern California with a matchup against Utah (3-2) on Sunday afternoon.
The Utes lost 90-79 to Hawaii on Thursday before topping Grand Canyon 75-66 on Friday. Larry Krystkowiak’s team has struggled defensively this year — KenPom ranks them 151st in defensive efficiency this season. The top scorers for Utah are guard Sedrick Barefield and stretch four Donnie Tillman.
The Wildcats haven’t played a Pac-12 team since November 2013, a 95-79 loss to UCLA.
