Background

Adebawore joins the Wildcats as the third-highest rated defensive end of NU’s 2019 class. He’s also almost certainly is the frontrunner for best name addition to the NU roster. The three-star lineman from Kansas City committed back in the spring, choosing to further his career in Evanston over offers from the likes of Army and Washington State.

Here are his senior season highlights:

Overview

His height and size are fairly average (if not undersized) compared to other defensive ends listed on the NU roster, but Adebawore’s highlights show an exceptional speed in closing down runners looking to get outside the tackles and escape the backfield (247 lists his 40-yard dash time at 4.74). Adebawore featured at inside linebacker at times in high school, but the highlights shows that he was clearly recruited for his pass-rushing ability and knack for causing disruption in the backfield.
