If Northwestern (15-12, 6-8 Big Ten) is going to beat No. 2 Michigan State (25-3, 13-2), it will have to do so without either of its top two point guards.
The Wildcats will be without both Bryant McIntosh and Jordan Ash as they take on the only team in the country that ranks in the top-8 nationally in adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency (Kenpom).
It’s safe to say this would be a pretty shocking upset. But hey, Purdue just lost to Wisconsin. KG voice: ANYTHING IS POSSIBLLEEEEE.
Freshman Anthony Gaines will make his first career start in McIntosh’s place. It will be very interesting to see how much playing time Chris Collins gives Isiah Brown, the sophomore who is the only true point guard available but also seems to be heavily in Collins’ doghouse.
Make sure you know how to watch, and as always, comment below as the game unfolds.
