They don’t get to play the final home games of their college careers at Welsh-Ryan Arena, but Northwestern’s three seniors got to do something pretty cool to make up for it.
Bryant McIntosh, Scottie Lindsey, and Gavin Skelly worked with NU’s design staff to create new uniforms that the team will wear for Senior Night at Allstate Arena. Here’s a full look at the uniforms, which feature a number of cool details while still looking simple and — in my opinion — very stylish.

This video explains how these jerseys came together. This isn’t something Northwestern has ever done before.

And here’s a screenshot from that video of all the uniforms’ details.

As a former spelling bee champ, I believe it is my job to point out that trajectory is misspelled, but that’s besides the point. The cool thing about the pinstripes is that they are made up of different relevant words and numbers.
The players and their jersey numbers are represented with 30 BMAC, 20 PIP, 44 GAVIN, and 4 VICTOR. Though he won’t be honored on Thursday night, Vic Law is included both on the pinstripes and with his signature because he came in the same recruiting class as the other three. There are also words like Leadership, Defense, Communication, and several others, as well as the numbers 312, 765, and 440, which are area codes from the players’ home areas of Chicago (Lindsey), central Indiana (McIntosh), and Greater Cleveland (Skelly).
It will be fun to see these in person as the Wildcats take on Wisconsin.
