The new facility appears to be paying dividends already.
Three-star offensive lineman Connor Foster (Milford, Ohio) verbally committed to Northwestern Thursday via Twitter, making him the second recruit to commit this week since the opening of Ryan Fieldhouse.

Foster is the eighth commit of the 2019 class. Kentucky appeared to be the other school competing hardest for his services, but, like in the Music City Bowl, the purple Wildcats won out. Foster also held offers from Purdue, Cincinnati and Vanderbilt, among others.
