Forward Aaron Falzon and the Malta national team earned a FIBA European Championship for Small Countries title with a resounding win over Norway on Sunday.
In a 75-59 victory in the championship game, Falzon scored 11 points, while adding eight rebounds and four assists.
For the tournament, Falzon finished third amongst competitors with 16.3 points per game. He added seven boards per game as well. Falzon certainly had the green light over the course of play, converting on 21-of-60 (35 percent) field goals and 10-of-39 (25.6 percent) three-pointers.
Falzon earned a spot on the tournament’s All-Star Five lineup for his efforts.
