In December, two of Northwestern’s most important players suffered serious knee injuries, casting doubt on the 2018 season. Clayton Thorson and Nate Hall, both senior leaders for the Wildcats, spent the offseason rehabbing together and supported each other through the ups and downs.
On a couple occasions, Hall shared the phrase “Comeback Chronicle” or the hashtag #CC to his 1,160 Instagram followers to let them in on his journey with Thorson.
“It’s just a way for me to kind of lighten the mood in the training room. Have some fun with Clay and the rest of the guys in there rehabbing,” Hall said. “You know, let the some of my followers know what we’ve been up to at 5:00 in the morning. Just a little way to have fun.”
While we don’t know if either player will see the field against Purdue, one thing is certain — NU will go as far as Thorson and Hall can take it.
