Northwestern released its injury report Thursday evening on Twitter before Friday night’s home matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Good news, no one was listed!
The ‘Cats face a tall task against one of the best teams in the country, but the offense, which has been anemic as of late, will receive a boost with the return of sophomore running back Isaiah Bowser. Bowser, who broke out last season, has struggled to find the field after after being banged up Week 1 against Stanford.

The report indicates that Hunter Johnson should be good to go, but it’s also important to note that HJ was left off the injury report against Nebraska and still missed the game with an injury!
It looks like left tackle Rashawn Slater will also return to action after missing Northwestern’s last game against Nebraska. Wide receiver Bennett Skowronek, who was injured in the lower-body region during the Michigan State game, will miss his third straight game as he remains out indefinitely.
At Monday’s press conference, Pat Fitzgerald declined to comment on the status of cornerback and captain Trae Williams.
