Northwestern has officially announced its uniform combination for their Saturday afternoon matchup against Nebraska. In a move that may upset the all-purple and white traditionalists, the ‘Cats will be rocking black helmets and pants with a white jersey.

Per the Daily’s Ella Brockway (a great source on uniform statistics and in general), Northwestern is 2-0 since 2012 wearing the uniforms. In its last time donning the black and white, NU defeated Minnesota 24-14, and in 2015 the ‘Cats took down Wisconsin 13-7.
