There are only five weeks of regular season action left in the NFL, and games are getting more (and less) important as the playoff standings tighten up. Here’s a quick look at how all of our beloved former Wildcats performed in Week 12:
Anthony Walker Jr. - LB, Indianapolis Colts
Walker and the Colts swallowed a tough Thursday Night loss against the Texans, but The Franchise remained one of the best defenders on the field. He led his team with 8 total tackles, five of which were solo and another being a TFL.
Joe Jones - LB, Denver Broncos
It was a game to forget for the Broncos, falling to the Bills 20-3 on the road. Jones assisted on a tackle in an otherwise uneventful game for both him and his team.
Sherrick McManis - DB, Chicago Bears
McManis came out victorious as the Bears squeezed out a win against the Giants, thanks to their defense. He accounted for a tackle and a pass breakup, while the group as a whole allowed just 243 yards and 14 points. The Bears still have a chance at the playoffs, but they will need plenty more than continued impressive play from McManis and his unit.
Danny Vitale, FB, Green Bay Packers
The entire Green Bay offense looked uninspired on Sunday Night and Vitale didn’t do much to change that perception, ending the game with only a single short reception for three yards.
Dean Lowry, DE, Green Bay Packers
Lowry picked up three total tackles in Green Bay’s blowout loss to the Niners, bringing his season total up to 31.
Ibraheim Campbell - SS, Green Bay Packers
Campbell played his second game of the season, recording a tackle. He is off to a strong start to his season after missing the first half of the year with an injury, recording four tackles and a forced fumble in just two games.
Tyler Lancaster - DT, Green Bay Packers
Lancaster failed to record a single stat, failing to make much of an impact in the midst of clear defense-wide struggles.
*Austin Carr was ruled out for the season and placed on the reserve/injured list by the Saints with an ankle injury on Saturday. (This section has been updated)
