Northwestern football officially announced its uniform combination for Saturday’s Big Ten clash with the Purdue Boilermakers late Thursday night. Ahead of Veterans’ Day, in honoring the men and women who have served our country, the ‘Cats will wear white helmets with the block-N logo fashioned in the colors of Old Glory with purple tops and white bottoms.

According to HailToPurple.com, the ‘Cats last wore the white “Flag N” helmets in last season’s early September loss to Duke. The only other time the ‘Cats have donned the unique lids was in 2015 in a shutout victory over Eastern Illinois.
Here’s to hoping that the ‘Cats’ patriotic display will lead to a victory Saturday afternoon.
