After being knocked out of last week’s game in Bloomington, redshirt sophomore Hunter Johnson is listed as “OR” next to Aidan Smith, and has not been given an injury designation, meaning he has been cleared for action. It is unknown how much game time he will see tomorrow.
Sophomore running back Isaiah Bowser, who was listed on last week’s injury report as out, does not appear on the depth chart this week. His status is unknown. Meanwhile, Trey Pugh, who entered the two-deep for the first time this week at superback after missing the first eight games of the season with an unknown injury, did not receive a designation, implying he will be ready to go.
On the defensive side of the ball, cornerback Greg Newsome II and defensive lineman Samdup Miller both sustained injuries last week against Indiana, and have been ruled out for the remainder of the season. Meanwhile, Trae Williams returned to the depth chart as the starting cornerback and did not receive an injury designation, implying that he will be fully active.
Neither running back Jesse Brown nor defensive tackle Trevor Kent, who each returned from injury last week, made it onto the two deep for Purdue. Their statuses are unknown.
