Northwestern received good news on the recruiting trail Tuesday, as 2020 recruit Jordan Butler flipped his commitment from Vanderbilt to Northwestern.

According to WildcatReport, the three-star defensive tackle/IMG Academy product said Fitz and defensive line coach Marty Long made a positive impression on him during his official visit to NU this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 295-pounder had offers from Notre Dame, Oregon and USC.
Butler also plans to enroll early in January, per Wildcat Report.
The Las Vegas native becomes the third defensive live commit in what is shaping up to be a landmark 2020 class for Pat Fitzgerald and company. The class currently has 17 members is rated 44th in the country by Rivals, and 29th (7th in the B1G) by 247Sports.
As you can see in the video below, the addition of Butler will add some serious size upfront to what is already an impressive group of 2020 commits.
