Barring any last-minute surprises, National Signing Day is going to be very sleepy for Northwestern. The fax machine already buzzed 18 times on Early Signing Day on Dec. 19, and the Wildcats only added one commitment, running back Evan Hull, in the interim period.
This morning, Hull signed his National Letter of Intent to become a Wildcat and finalize NU’s 19-player class. Not included is kicker/punter Trey Finison, a preferred walk-on who is on campus already as an early enrollee. There’s a good chance the Wildcats add a grad transfer (who’s the next Jake Collins?) and a few walk-ons later this spring.
Still, now is as good a time as any to remind ourselves of the NU class of 2019:
