Seniors Dererk Pardon and Vic Law were awarded All-Conference honorable mention status as the Big Ten announced their postseason honors Monday afternoon.
For the second year in a row. Pardon earned honorable mention status. He averaged 13.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while shooting 57.4 percent from the field. Pardon’s 60.3 shooting percentage is the best in NU history. The senior logged eight double-doubles during the season. He also was NU’s sportsmanship award honoree.
Law was named an honorable mention by the media. He amassed a career high 15 points per game in the regular season and only missed one game while battling a recurring knee injury. Often relied on to create his own shot for the Wildcats, Law posted .396/.337/.786 shooting splits on 12.7 shots per game. He also added 6.4 rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal per game. He crossed the 1,000 point threshold back in November, and he’s currently 12th on NU’s all-time scoring list.
