The season isn’t quite over yet for the Northwestern women’s basketball team.
The Wildcats (16-14, 9-9 B1G) earned an at-large bid to the WNIT and will host Dayton on Thursday night. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

The Flyers, who finished fourth in the Atlantic 10, lost to Maryland 82-71 in non-conference play. If NU can top Dayton, it will face the winner of the Toledo-Seton Hall matchup.
Northwestern last participated in the WNIT in 2016, falling to San Diego in the first round. In 2014, the Wildcats advanced to the Sweet 16 before losing to Indiana by one point. Joe McKeown has led NU to the WNIT six times, with a 5-4 record. Here’s the full bracket:
