After a top-heavy week of action, the new SBNation community college poll recorded a few changes, especially at the bottom.

Notably for Wildcat fans, Stanford joined Northwestern in the realm of the unranked, being replaced by USC. Big Ten East member Maryland became the seventh ranked squad in the conference, leaping all the way to 22nd after their beatdown of Syracuse.
Further up, Utah, whose last loss was in the Holiday Bowl to NU, moved up two spots to a new high of 12th, while rival Wisconsin followed suit, cruising up to 16th after their second consecutive shutout.
In the version of the poll conducted entirely by Northwestern fans and Inside NU denizens (which you can become a part of by clicking THIS LINK), the changes (with the exception of the Badgers, who rocketed all the way up to 12th) were a bit less severe:

Wildcat fans as a whole opted not to shift their top six even with LSU’s impressive win, though there were a couple of the same new inclusions as the community-wide poll showed at the bottom of the rankings.
Notably, after being asked whether they were confident in the direction of the NU program under Pat Fitzgerald’s leadership, a strong contingent of fans (if not as many as recent team results might suggest), voted in the affirmative:

Last week, the number was 69% (nice), so at least a few folks are feeling heartened by the bye.
