Welsh-Ryan Arena will host an early tipoff tonight as the Northwestern men (6-11, 1-6) play host to the No. 17 Maryland Terrapins (14-4, 4-3) on Tuesday evening.

The Wildcats are in the midst of a two-game losing streak after falling last week to Iowa and Illinois, despite Chris Collins’ shorthanded team putting together an impressive performance on the road in Champaign. The Terps recently snapped a two-game skid this past weekend with a win over Purdue.

Maryland, like every Big Ten team except Nebraska, clearly has the edge heading into this matchup with NU, but Mark Turgeon’s team has notably struggled on the road this season. They are 0-4 in true away games on the year, so if Wildcat fans want some hope to cling onto heading into this one, there is your stat.
