The time has come to determine who really is the best in the West.
Northwestern and Purdue, the top two teams in the Big Ten’s western division, will face off this afternoon in a matchup that not only has significant implications now but could ultimately determine which team makes the trip to Indy on December 19.
While Northwestern’s defense has been lights-out thus far, it will face its biggest test of the season in Purdue’s explosive passing offense led by Aidan O’Connell and the Boilermaker receivers. Peyton Ramsey will look to lead the offense to its fourth consecutive victory and improve upon past mistakes from recent matchups.
