Alcohol just might be available!

NCAA Basketball: Ohio State at Northwestern David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

The Northwestern men’s basketball season rolls along tonight as Juwan Howard and co. are in Evanston trying to avoid what could be a severely damaging loss to Michigan’s NCAA Tournament hopes.

Meanwhile, the ‘Cats are looking to pick up just their second conference win of the season and put an end to what has been an incredibly demoralizing seven game losing streak filled with blown leads and agonizingly close losses. Check out this piece for more context on these two teams heading into a matchup that has produced some memorable contests in years past.

In other notable news, this is the first game Welsh-Ryan will host since the Evanston City Council approved a permit for the arena to sell alcohol at all concession stands. Up until this point, alcohol could only be purchased at the stadium’s exclusive Wilson Club. For the full story on the new ordinance, check out this piece from The Daily Northwestern.

Join us in the comment section tonight as the action unfolds, beginning at 8:00pm CST on Big Ten Network.
