While sports have been on hold, Northwestern has kept busy, adding three 2021 commits and a grad transfer in the past 48 hours. The most recent of the bunch is three-star cornerback Theran Johnson, who announced his decision to join the Wildcats Sunday evening.

Northwestern was the only Power Five team to offer Johnson, beating out Ball State, Central Michigan, Cincinnati and Miami (OH).
The 6-foot, 170 pound defensive back recorded four interceptions and a fumble recovery in his 10 games played during his junior season. The Indianapolis native ranks 16th in his position in Indiana and 83rd in the nation, according to 247sports’ rankings.
Johnson becomes the eighth member of Northwestern’s 2021 class.
