As we talk about this episode, we apologize for not publishing a podcast last week as Inside NU limited posting so as to give space to the larger issues of racism and inequality in America. For those tuning in for the first time, we are on episode five of our reboot, but you can find the first, second, third, and fourth episodes on our SoundCloud page.

On this episode we dive into the different responses of Northwestern Athletics to the recent killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. We then move into Big Ten news, talking about actions taken by Commissioner Kevin Warren to establish an anti-hate and anti-racism coalition. Other topics include former Iowa football players speaking out racial discrimination within the Hawkeye football program, some recruiting talk and the fundraiser started by the Northwestern Black Student-Athlete Alliance.
