The North Carolina native picked the ‘Cats over Appalachian State, Wake Forest, Charlotte, East Carolina, Liberty, Louisville and his hometown school NC State. Experts predicted Gill would choose NC State over Northwestern.
The 6-foot, 170-pound receiver ranks 53rd in his state and 170th in his position.
Gill is now the 14th member of the class of 2021 and joins wideout Donnie Gray.
