How to watch/Gamethread: Northwestern’s first-round NCAA Tournament matchup vs. UCF

Today’s the day.

After a rollercoaster of a year, Northwestern has finally made its way back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015. The Wildcats have the chance to earn their first tournament victory since 1993 but will have to defeat the 10-seeded UCF Knights to advance.

The two defensive-minded teams will face off in San Antonio, as Veronica Burton and Lindsey Pulliam look to lead their squad to another dominant postseason victory like they did twice in the Big Ten Tournament. Pulliam is also just four points away from reaching 2,000 in her career.

During the first day of the tournament, not a single upset unfolded and every top seed took care of business. Northwestern looks to follow in that pattern and advance to the Round of 32, keeping its National Championship dreams alive.
