Northwestern (16-8, 11-7 Big Ten) has a chance to follow up its first NCAA Tournament win in 28 years with its first-ever trip to the Sweet Sixteen. The Wildcats have a tall task ahead of them, though, as they face the 2-seed Louisville Cardinals (24-3, 16-3 ACC).

After pouring in 25 points on 9-of-16 shooting, senior guard Lindsey Pulliam will be called upon to score early and often once again. The Cardinals are balanced, ranking sixth in both defensive and offensive ratings, per Her Hoop Stats. They aren’t big, though, and are a middle-of-the-pack rebounding team, which helps an undersized NU squad.

Tasked with slowing down a team that puts up nearly 79 points per game, the ‘Cats will have to drag the Cards into the mud and just hang around for as long as they can.
