Doesn't matter if the former/current player ratio was 100:1 of supporters to detractors; there is no room for critical thought in this climate. Who replaces him? Probably someone that will leave at the first sign of trouble or success, might not even have any ties to the program.
I've been to athletic events at dozens of other schools, I've never seen the head FB coach walking around shaking hands and greeting strangers like Fitz does, even at early morning non-conference basketball games on the weekend.
