The return trip of Northwestern's home-and-home with Duke will be played under the lights at Ryan Field on September 17th. Mark those calendars.

Fresh off a season where she averaged 16 points and 6 rebounds, Maggie Lyon has been added to the training camp roster of Chicago's WNBA franchise. A 4-time honorable mention All-Big Ten honoree, Lyon will look to carve out a role as an outside shooter at the next level. The Chicago Sky season opens on May 14th.
According to a report by CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, Northwestern will play the Dayton Flyers on December 17th at the United Center. As part of a doubleheader, Illinois will also play BYU. The Chicago Tribune's Teddy Greenstein initially reported a potential doubleheader a few months ago but Rothstein confirmed the date.
Former Northwestern basketball player (weird to say that, isn't it?) Tre Demps went 6-for-12 from the field for 18 points at today's Portsmouth Invitational. Demps led his team in scoring.
Doug Collins, father of Northwestern head basketball coach Chris Collins, was on the ESPN late afternoon show Pardon the Interruption this afternoon, and he donned a Northwestern basketball pullover for his segment. Collins, an NBA analyst for ESPN, talked about the upcoming NBA playoffs, and co-host Michael Wilbon, a Northwestern alum, complimented Collins on his attire.

Nothing unexpected here, but good to know that Law has been officially cleared and will be able to partake in all spring workouts. Law had surgery in November.
In a surprising turn of events, superback Bryce Wolma has decommitted from Northwestern in favor or Arizona. The Saline product had committed on Sunday, just hours after fellow superback Trey Pugh committed. Wolma announced his decommitment merely one hour after Denton safety Bryce Jackson announced his commitment to Northwestern.
